Desaster Survival as Political-Historical Interest Group Generating Factor

Theory for an Unspecific Group Modelling

To tell a story one first has to understand the story itself. Telling a whole lifes story is even more difficult, mostly if the story refers to ones own life. To understand your own life you have to decipher the margin in which develops your life, means the frame constructions of your ancestors life stories that determine, limit and predescribe your own way. This is a puzzle-like work, that advances less continuously but more spontaneously, means that you discover from time to time a `construction` that determines you and it`s relationship to your own past or the past of your parents world. When you reach the point to gain an more complete overview over the more and more complete puzzles part mosaique you probably begin to reduce yourself on understanding what you begin to see and less on going on to try to tell that story. So the advance in knowledge about yourself and about the determinating predescribed `frame factors` of your life is an opposite running process element related to the initial intent to clear up and make publicly understandable what you in a beginning thought is necessary to clear up. So the initial story telling concept is an instrument or a tool for those who are not placed inside their `community wave`and that need the public reflection of their story to find it`s own position inside the greater group one belongs to, even if the storry telling itself might bring you more and more far from that intended integration, so the groups self-understanding is often related to the undiscussed acceptance of an group leading concept.

Greater groups of interrelated persons are initially formed by descendence and familiar relationships. But also non-familiar factors can creat a group of interrelated persons. Between these factors we have to distinguish important and durable relationship generating meanings as well as spontaneous, momentary or casual relationship generating meanings. For example all visitors of Eiffel Tower in Paris form a greater interrelated group of persons, extremely numerous, worldwide distributed but probably not conscient about that community creating factor that remains relatively unimportant as `common reference point` for the group. Probably more significant and powerful is the group generating moment for al visitors of muslim `Hadsch` monument, the `Kaaba` in the town of Mecca, maybe also for its exlusivity for only male visitors and only members of islamic religion. Same might be valuable in the case of Macchu Picchu visitors, the sailors or travellers that surrounded Cape of Horns, the speakers of one language, the wearers of Blue Jeans, the listeners of Anton Dvorcak or John Lennon or both of them, the consumers of McDonald products or the Internet users. But for all these factors is valid that the individual that joins consciously or casually one of theses groups is also able and free to distance himself again from this relationshipness.

In times of increasing relativity of group generating factors another complex of group generation gains so more importance. Since the determinating frameworks of the 68` generation got more and more lost and valid political explainations become instable such as the communism/captalism confrontation, the east/west conflict, the north/south barreer, the risk begins to increase, that new generations refer more and more to historic process factors as group generating elements, factors that already have believed to be superated.

Historic process factors that refer to greater groups are valid for example for the informal community of disaster survivors, persons that refer to a common historic event that created a sensible impact in an not familiar, not race or not nation-dependent margin. First actual group in this field are the german or european jews forced to flee, emigrate, hide, change their habits, etc. during the years between 1933 and 1945. The descendence of these desaster victims and survivors nowadays form the most actual and most representative group of humans that was established by a group generating political historic event. But world war 2 generated with its tragedies numerous and incalculabe more desaster survivor process groups who`s group caracteristics not necessarily have been limited to religious, national or other specific terms and remain often inconscious for the group member community.

Here is intended to described as model an hipothetic process group generated by the theoretic event of a sunken warship of the year of 1943. The direct impact group of disaster survivors in this case is 36 persons rescued by enemy ships and taken as POW. Unrescued remained 1968 sailors that sunk with the ship. The material loss is 100%. This extends the number of disaster survivors group members in a second level to all 1968 families that lost one member during the disaster event. Due to the fact that the sunken warships activity between September 1939 and December 1943 described as `the most successful warship of WWII. of it`s nation` had already created an greater number of third level victims of about 45 sunken merchant or fighting ships of other combattant or non-combattant nations before, the victim groups that joined the process community of the sunken warship increases considerably. The here described desaster survivors group from 1943 consists so far in several thousands of military and merchand sailors family members that lost an direct member during the sinking of about 50 ships related to the as `successful` described activity of one battleship, the much smaller number of survivors and rescued from these sinkings and the material damage generated for the economic holders of the sunken ships by this acting group so far, that the members of the production sites, driving companies and responsable military administration structures also joined that desaster survivor group.

Meanwhile for example Jewish Communities as clearly definded interest groups with clearly defined group belonging caracteristics have been able to raise a common struggle for the indemnization of the damage generated against them by a historic event, the upside modelled `WWII warship desaster survivors group` that included members of sailor families from a greater number of nations, had no informal or administrative common structure to compensate the suffered damage. This means that in this community the disaster-generated individual damage persisted and was transferred to the following generations. This means, that an uncompensated damage generated by WWII without compensation claiming capacity group remained worldwide demand-active during about one generation and was led to the descendence level of the direct affected generation so that an uncontrollable process dynamic energy began to act worldwide and joined probably with same tendencies of other, similar consciously undefinded interest groups. This might explain some aspects of the political and militar situation of the post war wars between 1945 and 2000.
